Spencer T. Olin Golf Course is named after a local businessman, a long-time friend of Arnold Palmer. It was at Olin's reuqest that Palmer and his chief design associate, Ed Seay, designed this course, which is located about a 30-minute drive north of Saint Louis. Since opening, the course has hosted the 1996 USGA Women's Amateur Public Link Championship and the 1999 USGA Men's Amateur Public Links Championship.
