This 18-hole course is located on Javelin Barracks, an active British military installation, near Niederkrüchten in west-central Germany near the Dutch border. Non-military-BFG civilian visitors are welcome, but advance booking is necessary. A club/society is resident here: Europäischer Golfclub Elmpter Wald e.V. A 300-yard practice range, two putting greens, and a practice bunker are also available.
The civilian walking rates are €40 weekdays, €45 weekends. Discounts are available for juniors, military BFG-entitled civilians, and guests of members. The club also has reciprocal arrangements with 11 other clubs in Germany and one in the Netherlands.
