Michael Nicklaus, son of the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, was the lead designer of this course, which is the only Nicklaus-branded course in the Philadelphia area.
Applecross is co-owned with Talamore CC in Ambler, Pennsylvania and with the Talamore Golf Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina. All Applecross members enjoy reciprocal privileges at all Talamore clubs.
While this is a private club, they do occasionally host group and corporate golf outings.
