MVGC is an 18-hole championship caliber course measuring over 6870 yards. Located just off Buffalo Soldier Trail on historic Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ is one of the jewels of southern Arizona golf. With the majestic Huachuca Mountains as a backdrop and namesake, this traditional golf facility is a "must play" for visitors and residents alike. This military course is open to the public! No vehicle or visitor pass is required. The golf course gate is located off Buffalo Soldier Trail at the intersection with Wilcox Drive, one block east of the Ft Huachuca's Main Gate.

Course is located on Ft. Huachuca military base, and budget is governed by the fort. At times course condition suffers as a result, but overall the course can be fun. Greens are very challenging.

You have to stay on the fairway really hard to play on the sand like cement.

Great hole layouts. Excellent Greens and good fairways when water is available. Difficulty comes from missing fairways by only a few yards where the rough is the worst. New Artificial grass surface on driving range.
