Well-known architect Billy Bell did the original design of this course when it opened in 1948, although Dick Turner oversaw some modifications during the 1970s. One of the five oldest private clubs in Arizona, Mesa CC is a bit different in that it plays over the variable terrain of the Salt River escarpment, framed by more than 1,100 tall, mature trees.
