GGCC is located about 45 minutes southwest of Chicago and offers two 18-hole courses -- the Blue Course is a Tom Walsh design that opened in 1972, while Buzz Diddier's Gold Course opened in 1991. A 9-hole "Emerald Course" is also available along with a full-size practice range, putting and short-game facilities, and a golf dome that is available during most of the winter months.

A Bit Overpriced in my opinion. But decent layout and has potential. The practice area is huge. Wide open not much danger, gets a ton of local H.S. Play.

Nicely maintained public course. Blue course is less challenging than the Gold. Both are fun to play. Lots of trees and some water and sand.

A popular hidden course in the area. I barely heard of the place.
Pace of play was decent, but I played twilight. Value was good for twilight at $29. Scenery was OK, Not much traffic. Houses surround only a few holes, cornfields otherwise.
The bunkers were terrible, hard as concrete. Fairways seemed OK, though there were some bare spots, and also some unfilled ruts in the rough areas. Greens were lush but not very true.
Bev cart service was good. Full service clubhouse for after the round.
In summary, an OK course for the price. Not overly punishing. Perhaps a good course for casual golfers. Does show sign of a lack of upkeep as far as the course is concerned.
