Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top public U.S. courses, this Dick Nugent design is operated by Billy Casper's golf course management firm and features bent grass from tee-to-gren. Eight lakes are in play on eleven holes, while tree-lined fairways and wildlife help make things interesting.

The course is outstanding, unfortunately they let a group of 6 go out and it held up everyone behind them. Finished the round in 4.5 hours but after the 7th hole we had to wait 10 to 15 min at each tee box...frustrating

Challenging Course, Poorly Run,4:04 Tee Time, Went off at 4:45 because people were waiting for carts, Our cart died at the 16th hole Our last hole because it was too dark to see anymore.

For a park district course George Dunn is very good. However, the more than five and a half hour round will keep me from ever going back. Every shot was preceded by a 5 to 10 minute wait and twice there were three groups waiting on a tee - unacceptable.

The flagship of the Forest Preserve golf courses, why can't the others be half this good ?
Well kept and in good shape earlier in the year. Many challenging holes here.

Nice course. However, the cart girl never came by, and the pace of play was HORRIBLE!! They over book the course!
