Arnold Palmer's golf architecture firm designed this course, which opened in 1988 and is located southwest of Thunderbird Park, about 13 miles north of Glendale's NFL stadium and NHL arena. This "desert-parkland" style course features six lakes and related water hazards, many palm trees, and a few elevation changes.

Very enjoyable golf course. Friendly staff. Layout very nice with its challenges. Greens were excellent. My only complaint was that the tees were not level. Feet always above or below the ball.

fairways and greens were very hard and not receptive. Tee boxes were not level and poorly maintained. The greens were very fast but ok. not a top tier golf douse but could be is better maintained. bare worth the reduced rate of $47. Not sure if I would play it again as greens all have false fronts that make it unnecessarily difficult

course was way over watered. Lost a ball in a mud pit in the farway. Bunkers had water standing in them.
