Deerfield Golf Club
264 Deerfield Club Dr
Madison, MS 39046-8881, United States

601.856.6966
This par 72, 6900 yard, championship course was carved from a natural woodland area in 1979 and has hosted PGA Tour Qualifying Tournaments, Senior PGA Qualifying Tournaments, 7 State Opens, 3 State Amateurs, US open Qualifiers and US Senior Open Qualifiers. The modern layout with Bermuda fairways, menacing bunkers and strategic water holes only enhance the championship qualities.

The course came under new ownership in June of 2014 after the financial failure of previous owner Colonial Country Club.

I absolutely love Deerfield. It's a great classic course.

The course was narrow in spots wide open in others the grounds were in good condition. The greens ample and rolled well. The cart paths need work the facility needs through cleaning and a bit run down looking and smelling. It reminded me of a Muny....but some I have played are better condition than this. Overall it was after all golf and what's not to like about playing a round of golf.
