Chick Evans GC is a short (5,691 yards) 18-hole course located in the northern Chicago suburbs. The course is named after Chick Evans who was the first amateur golfer to win both the U.S. Open and the U.S. Amateur Open, and founded the Chick Evans Scholarship program for caddies. The Chicago River cuts through the center of the course offering an attractive obstacle for golfers. Chick Evans GC is also a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

The course is one of ten owned by the Cook County Forest Preserve, so it is very much open to the public. The rack rates are $30 on weekdays, $32 on weekends (carts are $16/person). Twilight, card-holder, 9-hole, senior, and junior discounts are offered, as are specials and discount coupons on the course web site.
