When Bobby Jones initially designed The Oaks Course in the 1940s, the course was very flat and easy to walk with very few bunkers and water. However, in the intervening decades, over 70 bunkers have been added. Ten water hazards are also in play.
Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rates are $29 on weekdays, $32 on weekends and holidays. Memberships are also offered.

This is a very good course with excellent championship greens. The one down fall of this course is that they do not offer a military discount to veterans. I would play it again because of the friendliness of the staff!
