This course dates to 1919, although architect Denis Griffiths has overseen redesign work here. Locals describe this course's first nine as much more difficult than the second nine, with narrow fairways. However, the par-3s are lengthy, including the signature 17th, a 198-yard hole with a tee-shot from elevated boxes, over a lake, and onto a peninsula green. Water is in play on a total of seven holes.
