Tucked away in a scenic Idaho valley above the resort town of Lava Hot Springs is the Dempsey Ridge Golf Course. This privately owned public course is operated and carefully tended by a group of gentlemen with a deep-running passion for a great game of golf. This nine-hole Course was built in 1970 by a partnership of 13 men. The course was known as the Thunder Canyon Golf Course until the spring of 2009, when it was renamed Dempsey Ridge Golf Course.
