This daily-fee layout is the work of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, with 1996 Open champion Tom Lehman consulting. Troy Burne GC rolls over 420 acres east of the Saint Croix River and features over 120 bunkers protecting large bent grass fairways and stadium greens. Golf Digest gave this course 4.5 stars, and also notable is that Troy Burne previously hosted an annual Nationwide Tour event.

The standard walking rate is $90, carts are $19/person. Sliding twilight, shoulder-season, senior, and walk-up specials are also offered.

Despite the Hudson street address, this course is located to the south in Troy Township.
