This municipal course is owned and operated by the Pensacola Parks & Recreation Department, and opened in 1926.
In 2011, major renovations were done to this course over a period of six months. At least two holes were completely rebuilt, as were all the greens, which were seeded with a Tifton hybrid Bermuda. In addition, the course now sports 32 bunkers, while a new set of Green tees plays to 5,614 yards. (No slope-and-ratings data are available yet, because the Florida State Golf Association staff are still working on these numbers.)
An up-to-date practice facility includes a new 6,000 sq-ft putting green, while the old putting green is used for chipping and now includes a practice bunker. In addition, this is now part of the First Tee of Northwest Florida.
The daily 18-hole rate with a cart is $27, although various junior and business rates are also available.

Same here. My Skycaddie has not been changed, even though the website indicates the course changes. I've tried everything, resetting the GPS on the course, d/l 3 0r 4 times.....nothing works. GolfLogix was updated within one week after course modification.

The course was revised over the summer. Hole numbering was also changed. When I played it had not been revised by Sky Caddie, so my SG5 was of no use because of the revised hole system. Good course to play good value also.
