This course opened in 1930 with a design by architect John P. Barr; the nines were reversed before the club hosted the 1961 Milwaukee Open. Modern-day architect Ken Killian oversaw some updates in 1997. The Menomonee River bisects the course halfway between the north and south boundaries.
Since 1971 the club has hosted the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic, a two-day charity event. Otherwise, this is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of members.
