The golf course was designed in the late 1960's as a walking course in that each green is close to the next tee. It has a country setting with few houses located on its border. We are located on 200 plus acres and have several lakes scattered throughout the course.

New greens were installed in 1997 and recently a new state-of-the-art electronically controlled irrigation system was added on all fairways. Also installed were new pumping stations at the well-filled lake reservoir for course irrigation. Drinking water, ice and rest room facilities are available on the course. More than 20 members can use the driving range at one time and others can use the putting green, pitching green and the sand trap practice area. Our cart barn stores all the riding carts, the Sun Mountain (tricycle) walking carts and the members' golf bags. Easy curb-side access is provided for the members to pick-up or drop off their golf bags.

There is no additional fee for golf bag storage or for use of range balls. Lockers are available. Walking or riding carts are available for a modest fee, along with special rates for family members.

Many golfing tournaments are organized throughout the year. In season (November through April), the ladies' league play is on Thursday mornings and the course is reserved for gentlemen on Wednesday afternoon. During the off-season, this rule is relaxed once it is established that there are plenty of tee times available to all, including reciprocals.
