This 36-hole facility is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Three regulation-length nines dominate the facility and opened in 1993, while the par-3 Short Course debuted in 1994.

The Loblolly nine features rolling fairways and several water-fronted greens framed by tall, mature pines.

The Canyon nine was carved from former hunting grounds where deer blinds remain nailed to the hardwood. The first hole of this target-oriented nine features a 501-yard par-4 with a cliffhanger tee-box that drops 200 feet to the fairway.

The Sherling nine may be the most dramatic nine, which concludes with an uphill march past a deep ravine strewn with ochre boulders to a lolling tongue of a double green that is shared with Canyon #9. Above this green is a clubhouse set atop the highest point in Butler County.

The Short Course is an attractive collection of par-3s between the ridge and Sherling Lake.
