The Red and White nines are Larry Packard designs that debuted in 1976, while architect Rick Jacobson designed the Blue nine that debuted in July of 1999. The club has hosted a long string of state amateur and professional events since 1985.

The peak summer walking rates are $35 Sunday afternoons through Thursdays and $53 Fridays through Sunday mornings. With a cart, those rates are $50 and $71, respectively. (Shoulder-season, 9-hole, and sliding twilight discounts are available, as are 27-hole rates.)

Incidentally, the name comes from the word "Mascouten," a Fox tribal word meaning "little prairie people," although the Mascouten themselves spoke Algonquin. This distinct tribe became extinct during the mid-18th century.
