Following a brief closure at the end of 2014, Marcus Pointe GC re-opened in January of 2015 with new ownership and management. The course debuted in 1990 with a design by Earl Stone and is located south of Interstate 10 between highways 297 and 95.

One of my favorite courses in the area. I'm glad to see they are still there. I hope it lasts. The greens are firm right now and the holes are cut in some awkward spots so you have to be careful where you land your approach. I thought the course was more challenging this time.

Good course. Like many in Florida, it is relatively flat. Some good use of creek running through land.
