This narrow fairways are not lined with as many trees as they are with Palmettos and marshlands. There is also a defined cut of rough bordering the fairways, so accuracy off the tee is at a premium. The pure greens are sloped and contorted in Fazio tradition and speedy (rolling to a 10+ on the Stimpmeter). The signature hole is #7, a 485-yard, par 5, which a golfer can reach in two shots, but they must hit his or her shot to a green that is well protected by water hazards. There are a few grass bunkers on the course, but there are many more waste bunkers and water is in play on 13 holes.
