Öijared GK is located on a peninsula not far from Gothenburg. Three 18-hole courses are here; the Bamla banen ("Old Course") dates to 1960, but was renovated and reopened in 2009 with a design by Pierre Fulke. The Parkbanen ("Park Course") is a pay-and-play layout that opened in 1987 with a design by Åke Persson, Peter Chamberlain oversaw a renovation that was completed in 2000. The Nya banen ("New Course") dates to 1970 and has hosted the Öijared Ladies Open for many years.
