The Golf Club at Yarmouthport – Not much I can say about this course that wasn’t even listed in the New England Golf Guide except that it’s a fun challenging little track. The course wasn’t busy at all which made for a quick round. The pricing at $49 for 18 w/cart was a bit high, but again this is the Cape. Only 3911 yards from the Blues this Brian Silva course has a lot of par 3’s a couple of 4’s and one 5 (that should be a 4). Everything was in good shape here from tee to greens, the rough was a bit long and needed a mow but having too healthy rough is a good thing especially in New England where the older the course it seems like the rough gets thinner reverting back to native grasses. This course is right up there with Blue Rock as far as being a nice short track. Large clubhouse but no place to buy a beer or even a Gatorade, they need to open things up its May now Jeeesh! The course is surrounded by real estate so if that’s not to your liking stay away. They also have a swimming pool and grass tennis courts being a full member here might be a cool thing if you live in the area
