I have played West Mon golf course many times and it's a real gem with some breath taking views and some challenging holes. The view from the highest tee in Britain is spectacular and the course is well worth playing. It's a mix of heather and gorse, with tightly trimmed grass fairways. I always enjoy playing there.

Hospitality first class. Don't be put off by the fact it is the highest course in the United Kingdom. I have played a lot of courses that are harder going on the legs than this. Very pleasent walk. We stayed in Celtic Manor and found this course to be excellent value and is only 20 mins drive away Well worth the visit if you are staying in south Wales
