This course dates to 1909 and a design by five-time Open champion and prolific architect James Braid. It was previously known as Greenway Hall Golf Centre until it was sold in early 2011. One of the teaching professionals here is David Gilford, who went 4-0 at the very memorable 1995 Ryder Cup Matches at Oak Hill.

Too many holes crammed into too small a space. You will spend more time checking to see where the other holes are cutting across and avoiding players wandering along other holes than playing golf.
Very disappointing.
The greens were poor and very very slow, some of the tees were too lush, others had no grass and were slippery
Would I play there again? No!
