This unique facility *could* be classified as "private" and "military"; the course is open to military veterans, active-duty members and their families. The course was founded by Marlyn Marquardt, who wanted to build his own special tribute to the men and women who have served the United States in uniform.

The course includes a regulation nine and a special nine that accommodates players with physical disabilities. A practice range, a putting green, and an Iwo Jima memorial are planned for the future here.
