This course opened in 1972 as El Conquistador Country Club; IMG Academies (IMGA) purchased the club in 2005, then retained architect Gene Bates for a redesign of the course. The rest of IMG Academy is a 300-acre multi-sport training and education, camp and academy, club/resort/real estate development.
The peak season is January-April, when the morning rate (with cart) is $68. Afternoon, 9-hole, and shoulder-season rates are lower. Memberships are also available.
