The club dates to 1893, but the course opened in its present location in 1928. Visitors are welcome; the summer walking rates are £30 on weekdays, £38 on weekends and bank holidays. Junior, 9-hole, twilight, winter, and guest-of-member rates are also available, as are memberships.

Enjoyable day overall - played there with a society. Course was fine no problems but no fresh coffee, sandwiches weren't great and pro shop sparse and not welcoming. Not bad but nothing special either
