This 9-hole, 17-tee golf course is also known as "The Royal Burgh of Lauder Golf Course." It lies just south of the town of Lauder in what was historically Berwickshire, about 30 miles southeast of Edinburgh. This is a very wide-open layout with the only stand of trees in play on the dogleg par-4 4th hole. While the course was originally designed by the two-time Open champion Willie Park, Jr., the club's committee decided to change part of the layout in 1931.
