Golf has been played here since 1964, when this was a 9-hole course. In 1985, the Provincial Government of Nova Scotia purchased the 540-acre property and undertook an expansion to 18 holes with a new design by architect William G. Robinson; the new course opened in 1990. Two years later, the gorgeous new course hosted the 1992 Nova Scotia Amateur Championship. (In 2001, the province sold the course back to club members.)

The standard visitor walking rate is C$48; carts are C$35. Junior, under4-12, 9-hole, and twilight rates are available, as are memberships.
