Ridge Manor Oaks Golf & Country Club, formerly Whispering Oaks Country Club, is the olderst golf course in Hernando County, established in 1954. The Course is greatly improved since being re-opened and renovated in 2009 by Former PGA Tour & Champions Tour Player Bob Carson and son Teke Carson.
The eighteen hole layout consists of an "Oaks" nine, with narrow fairways hugged by numerous hundred year old oaks, and a "Dunes" nine, open with waste bunkers and links-style grasses bordering the fairways. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of all ability levels.
