The Oak Hurst golf course opened in 1993 and is designed by famed golf course designer, Carlton Gipson. Gipson has designed many great golf courses throughout the country.The Oak Hurst golf course was featured in the Dallas Morning News article "Diamonds in the Rough", which spotlighted great golf courses around the state of Texas that are not in metropolitan areas.
The Peach Tree Golf Course, which opened in 1984, is an executive length, beginner friendly course favored by seniors, juniors, and those that are new to the game of golf. This shorter, more open links style golf course makes scoring much easier.

Had a very rude person in the pro shop, both when I called in the morning and when I got to the course. Several greens were nearly un-puttable due to foreign grass invasion. I enjoyed the layout.
