This resort is located on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains and includes three golf courses spread out over several square miles:
PROSPECTOR GOLF COURSE
3320 Suncadia Trl
Cle Elum WA 98922-3215
Prospector opened in 2006 with a designed by the Arnold Palmer Design Company. Prospector is a public-access course.
TUMBLE CREEK GOLF CLUB
3600 Suncadia Trl
Cle Elum WA 98922-3251
Tumble Creek is a private course designed by Tom Doak. It is open only to club members.
ROPE RIDER GOLF COURSE
215 Rope Rider Dr
Cle Elum WA 98922
Architect Jim Hardy and former PGA Tour star Peter Jacobsen collaborated on the design of this rather course, which runs alongside Tipple Hill — a 120-foot coal tailings rise. Parts of the course also run over the former Roslyn Mines numbers 9 and 10. Rope Rider was named one of the best new courses of the year after it opened in 2011. The name is in tribute to the coal miners who once perched themselves on the dangerous roped coal cars that traversed the mine shafts on this site decades ago.

Prospector is a very scenic, well maintained course with very fast greens. We played in the afternoon, on a Friday and the green fees were $75 including range balls and cart. We played Rope Rider on Saturday. They had lost our reservation, but it was rainy and they got us out 10 mintues later than our time, but put us behind a group with two beginners. Course was in good shape. It's a very playable course. It was a $119 each for green fees, and there is no driving range at Rope Rider. The staff at both courses are very hospitable. They could do a better job marshaling on both courses.

Prospector is a great course, Rope Rider, just ok. Potentially when Rope Rider really fills in all the grass from being recently opened less than 18 months ago, it may get better. But the coal stack seems more like a gimmick than something that really enriches the course, while Prospector is just a great woodlands type course.

Great views. Good Technical course.
Very well maintained. Agree with other reviewer, greens were difficult to read.
