These two very highly-regarded Tom Fazio-designed courses have been rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play" feature for more than a decade. Despite the Nevada telephone number, this facility is inside the California state line, approximately three miles south of Primm, Nevada. Access is from Interstate 15, Exit 291 (Yates Well Road).
DESERT COURSE (May 1998)
The tougher of the two courses here, the Desert Course is appropriately named and features palm and mesquite trees, as well as colorful cactus and desert wildflowers. Where water is used on the Lakes Course, vast stretches of waste bunkers border the fairways on seven holes. Water *is* in play on five holes, and narrow fairways with elevation changes add to the challenge.
LAKES COURSE (February, 1997)
Golf Digest magazine named The Lakes Course one of the Top Ten Best New Courses of 1997. In stark contrast with the Desert Course, Lake plays through and around a cleverly-designed system of lakes and waterways, with thick stands of pines framing the layout. While this is a friendlier layout for higher-handicap players, it is certainly no cakewalk.

they have 2 couses we like the desert. beautiful area, great fairways and greens. one of the best in the area. only trouble there are not many flat areas mostly rolling hills of some sort or other. out of the year we play here probably 15 ot 20 times a year. this course is a must.
