Old Warson hosted the 2009 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and has also hosted several Saint Louis-area Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association championships, the 1971 Ryder Cup Matches (U.S. team) and the 1999 U.S. Amateur (Danny Green). This private club was founded in 1953, and the Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed course opened on April 15, 1954.
