The Pronghorn Club is a private residential community and country club with two very difficult courses, one of which is a private, members-only layout designed by Tom Fazio. The second course is one of the very few Jack Nicklaus designs accessible to the public (arrangements must be made in advance).

What a beautiful course in Oregon's high desert. Difficult, but thoroughly enjoyable for any moderate skill level. At 2:30pm on weekdays, the green fees drop to just over $100; but the staff still treats you like you paid full price. Extraordinary service with a smile. We played on a Monday afternoon and was not rushed in the least. I'll go back next time in Bend.
