Alister MacKenzie designed course with some very scenic and challenging holes. Like Auguista there are some very steep hills leading to odd bounces which can make scoring very difficult. If you enjoy a really difficult challenge then you will enjoy Lilley Brook providing you are fit enough to walk round. Overall I think it's actually too tricky to be really enjoyable at my age (over 70) even though I'm still 7hcp.
