The course opened in 1965 with nine holes designed by Javier Arana (now holes 10-18), while the other nine holes debuted in 1989. The first nine is technically demanding, while the second (original) nine plays over more open terrain. Visitors are welcome year-round; the high-season (April-October) walking rates are €80 weekdays and €100 weekends and holidays. During the winter months, those rates are €60 and €70, respectively.
