UNM NORTH COURSE:
2201 Tucker Rd NE
Albuquerque NM
505.277.4146

CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE:
This very notable course is a Robert "Red" Lawrence design that debuted in 1967. The hilly terrain means this is not strictly a desert course, but has a pronounced desert flavor. The Championship course is home to the UNM Lobo men's and women's golf teams, as well as a variety of wildlife including rabbits, roadrunners, owls, hawks, and the occasional coyote.
NORTH COURSE:
Originally an 18-hole layout, this was the first course in the U.S. to break the 7000-yard barrier. It played host to the first professional tournament in Albuquerque in 1947 (Lloyd Mangrum), the 1950 NCAA Championships (Fred Wampler) and the 1953 International Jaycee Junior Championship (Al Geiberger). The present 9-hole course measures 3333 yards and now has many mature trees lining the narrow fairways.

Pretty lame track, boring lay out and poor conditions. Too many other nice tracks in this area to consider playing here.

If you like true rolling putts on fast greens you'll love it. There are good risk reward holes real fun course

I had not played this course in a year and now it is in really rough shape. Not worth the money they are charging. This used to be a great course but right now it's conditions are terrible.
