The Scarlet Course here is usually ranked among the best collegiate courses in the U.S. and dates to 1938 and a design by the legendary architect Alister Mackenzie. Ohio State alum Jack Nicklaus oversaw a restoration of the course from 2005 to 2006. The Gray Course is also a Mackenzie design; it opened in 1940.

Attractive challenging course. Maintenance more on par with heavily used municipal course. Ladies beware - Jack Nicklaus doesn't give us much of an advantage with the forward tees.
