This gorgeous seaside links course was designed by the notable architect Harry S. Colt and lies below the mountains of western Ireland. Each Easter, the course hosts the West of Ireland Open amateur championship; the course has hosted many other important Irish amateur and professional events.

Also here is a 9-hole short course that opened in 1999 and a large practice range.

Visitors are welcome year-round; the standard walking rate on the Championship links is €95. GUI and ILGU rates are available, as are corporate and society rates. On the 9-hole Bonmore course, the walking rates are €25 for nine holes and €40 for 18.

A remarkable course. Played it with a light breeze (just kidding). A great layout wonderful clubhouse and amazing food. If you get a chance play it. It will not disappoint and its in a charming town.

One of the best courses I've played. Tough, windy conditions and lack of local knowledge led to high scoring.
If you are in the area, a must play venue.
