Part of the Big Cats group of resort courses, two courses with cat-flavored names are located at this intersection in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The address above is for Panther's Run GC, which is a Tim Cate design that opened with nine holes in 1994; the second nine followed one year later. The course features fairly large landing areas and contours that generally follow the natural terrain.

In addition, the firm that operates Panther's Run also operated four other courses at separate locations in the region.

Tiger's Eye Golf Links is located directly across the street at:

This upscale daily-fee course winds through pine and hardwood forest and offers a "Pinehurst-y" look and feel.

The group also operates Lion's Paw Golf Links, Leopard's Chase Golf Course, and Jaguar's Lair Golf Club, all in this general region.

Awesome track

Not what we expected from the website. Standard Carolinas type course with maintenance needs.

The course design is good, difficult enough from the tips and playable from forward tees. The course was nearly abandoned at 2pm for our tee time, so pace of play was not an issue. The maintenance was a little lacking, particularly in the greens. Lots of turf disease and weed growth that should really be tended to in order to bring this course up to the level it is capable of. Overall a good course and fair priced.

Every experience this trip to Ocean Ridge was great. The staff make your time relaxing and enjoyable. I play Tigers Eye every chance I get. Great course.

This establishment has 4 courses all named after Big Cats. I played Panther Run. this is a well groomed, well laid out track. Nice practice facility and awesome club house. Lots of nice challenges then breather holes throughout this track. It will make you use all the clubs in your bag especially if the wind is blowing. Fun & challenging track. A tremendous and beautiful clubhouse and hospitable staff.

Some of the greens were in pretty bad shape, but overall, a nice course.

Played Panthers Run mid March 2013 and it was in great shape. Apparently it is the easiest of the 4 courses but it's no easy course. Greens were lovely. Next year I will start there earlier and get the other 3 courses in.

First group out so pace of play was 3 hours.

Played Panther Run. Pin placements were very difficult, but we were warned.
