This private club is located within a gated luxury community in North Carolina's sand hills, about 30 miles north of Pinehurst. Robert Trent Jones Sr. (1906-2000) designed both courses here; the Lake Course opened in 1971, while the Creek Course came along eight years later.

Played the Lake Course on Saturday, June 11th. Beautiful course! Tee boxes and fairways were excellent and there was plenty of fluffy white sand in the bunkers - trust me on that. Unfortunately, they forgot to mention that they had just punched their greens on Monday when we made our tee time!!!! We played for $35 which included range balls and a free beer if we filled out a questionnaire. Also, I had just updated my skycaddie with the latest course information but it seems to be missing the new bunkers they put in last year. Someone needs to get out there and remap the course.

Played it in 2014. It was raining off and on through out the round so pace was difficult. Good course. Playing again next week.
