Swelp - 6/9/12
A sublime difficult course with smallish greens and always windy so be prepared to hit a good shot and still be penalised, greens are generally fast.
Rough generally swallows the ball forever.

A real test and feels like the end of the island. A lot of maintinance underway in March 12 whan I played all 27, so two holes were more or less unplayable and not sure about some of the redesign thought process. Dunes and Shore are the best, but Himalayas was a bit of a let down. Really good value and looking forward to comming back in the Autumn. Soulless clubhouse although very empty so shouldnt judge by one visit alone.

I played the course today and found it very challenging. I enjoyed the dunes 9 but was a little unhappy to be placed playing the hims 9 without warning from the pro when I placed my reservation.I drove 2.5 hours to play so would like to play the champion course for 85 pounds!

Excellent facility.
Greens in excellent condition.
Bunkers good but shallow sand in the middle of some of them,
Pathways improving but very difficult to walk on and very very bumpy.
