Glen Echo CC lays claim to being the oldest 18-hole private club west of the Mississippi River, dating to 1901 and a design by the notable architect Robert Foulis. In fact, the club hosted the golf portion of the 1904 Olympic Games.

While this is a private country club, they make their course available on select Mondays and Tuesdays for charity, corporate, and group golf outings with prior arrangement.
