Formerly known as Swindon Golf Club, the Earl of Dudley originally owned and mined the land on which The Staffordshire Golf Club resides. The Staffordshire Golf Club’s wooded parkland course offers some of the most picturesque holes in the UK, with tree-lined fairways, fast undulating greens and a huge dog leg amongst 60-foot tall firs.

Just played here yesterday with my friends in a golf society. Since playing here the last time it has been renamed and is now "The Staffordshire" and the front and back nines have been reversed.
It still remains one of my favourite courses and has one of my favourite golf holes as well.
The course was in excellent condition, the greens were a little hard and fast but very true and perfectly fair. The fairways nicely mown and well defined. It isn't the longest course but it does require accuracy. The par 3s are all a challenge and a par is far from a certainty. It is a little hilly but not too bad.
The food and drink was excellent in quality, quantity and price, and the clubhouse very welcoming.
I don't think you will be disappointed playing here
