Melton Valley opened in 1932, but the course underwent a major reconstuction from 1987 to 1988, when the course reopened with a new design by architect Tony Cashmore. The course is located about a 30-minute drive north of the Melbourne CBD and includes irrigated couch fairways.
Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rates are A$28 on weekdays, A$32 on weekends and public holidays. Special rates are available for pensioners, juniors, and 9-hole play.
