Beautiful course with super tight fairways and trouble at every turn. Its all about accuracy on this track. If you can keep it in the short grass you dont need to be long here. Two of the nicest par 3's i've ever played on this track. Bring your "A" game!

too difficult, but like has been said, excellent scenery and landscaping, i just wanna ghost ride a cart off the 100' cliff! :)

The courses here are top-notch for New Jersey but comes with top-notch green fees as well. the golfing experience is one that every recreational golfer should have on their bucket lists. The courses are well-designed and very challenging. The one course that I always have to play is Crystal Springs GC b/c of one hole.. the 180 yd par 3 scenic hole on a quarry cliff is both spectacular and fearful. Fearful meaning hitting a very accurate shot to hit the challenging (pond on left & rock formation on right) hour-glass shaped green. The green fees are worth the great golfing experience along with the well-organized staff of staying on top of the groups to keep starting times close to booking times. More golf package specials would be nice.

The staff at Crystal Springs / Cascade were not as courteous as I feel all resorts should be. Yes, they say hello but kind of stone faced, not really thankful for being a customer. We had lunch there and it took over 40 mins for our food to arrive with no updates during the long period of time. The manager came over and we asked what was the delay and responded with the standard "you're food is coming right up" and walked away. So you know they didn't even bother to offer an apology or better yet, a discount for the inconvenience. And the topper, the waitress comes with the bill and says "there is a 20% additional gratuity added as is common practice of groups of 6 or more.." Really? We weren't happy so we'll just enjoy the golf there.
