Two courses are part of this club, which was built over a former sugar cane estate. Course 1 opened with nine holes in 1924; the second nine came along eleven years later. The original clubhouse was destroyed in a 1988 fire, which became the portent not only for a replacement building, but also some updates to the course overseen by South African professional golfer Hugh Baiocchi and his architectural team.

Planning and design of a second course got underway in 1994; it opened in 1997.
