The University of North Florida's Hayt Golf Learning Center and Golf Complex opened in 2002 and includes four practice holes, floodlit chipping and putting greens, and a floodlit practice range with both grass tees, and automatic Power Tee artificial mats. The newest feature as of July, 2015 is a portable canopy that is 104 feet in length, 26 feet deep, and includes fans to keep up to 11 people cool during the summer, as well as shielding them from rainfall.

The 38-acre facility is located on the south side of the school's campus. Access is from Interstate 295 at Exit 53, then east on Butler Boulevard, north on Kernan Boulevard, then west onto Betty Holzendorf Drive.
